(CNN) -- A passenger plane flying between Antalya on Turkey's Mediterranean coast and Russia has been hijacked, Turkish media have reported.
A spokesman at Turkish Airlines told CNN that there was an 'urgent situation' with their flight to St. Petersburg.
Some Turkish media sources have reported that the hijacker was overpowered by other passengers
